Subscription and Payment Terms

Introduction

These Subscription and Payment Terms govern your purchase and use of paid features, lead credits, and subscriptions in the FindaHost mobile application (the "App"). These terms supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

By purchasing any paid features, credits, or subscriptions, you agree to these Subscription Terms.

Payment Processing

Stripe Payment Platform

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, Inc., our trusted payment processor:

  • Secure Processing: Stripe handles all payment information in compliance with PCI DSS standards
  • Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods supported by Stripe
  • Currency: All prices are displayed and charged in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) unless otherwise specified
  • Data Security: FindaHost does not store your full payment card details on our servers

Lead Credits

What Are Lead Credits?

Lead credits are virtual credits used to access contact details and full information for tenant leads received through the App, including:

  • Contact details for prospective tenants
  • Full application information
  • Extended tenant profiles
  • Priority access to new leads

Credit Usage

  • Deduction: Credits are deducted when you unlock or access a lead's full information
  • One-Time Charge: Each lead requires credits only once; subsequent access to the same lead is free
  • Non-Reversible: Once credits are used to unlock a lead, the transaction cannot be reversed
  • No Expiry: Lead credits do not expire and remain in your account until used

Pricing and Fees

All current prices are displayed in the App and on our website at https://findahost.io/pricing.

Price Display

Prices shown include:

  • Base Price: The cost of credits or subscription
  • VAT: Value Added Tax at the applicable UK rate (currently 20%)
  • Total Price: The final amount you will be charged

Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify our pricing at any time with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

Subscription Plans

Recurring Charges

  • Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled
  • Billing Date: You will be charged on the same day each billing period (monthly or annually)
  • Cancellation: You can cancel anytime through App settings or by contacting support

Free Trials

If a free trial is offered:

  • The duration will be clearly stated before you sign up
  • You must provide payment information to start a trial
  • Trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends
  • You can cancel anytime during the trial period without being charged

Cancellation Policy

How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time:

  • In-App: Go to Settings > Billing > Manage Subscription > Cancel
  • Customer Support: Contact support@findahost.io for assistance
  • Effective Date: Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • No Partial Refunds: Cancelling mid-period does not entitle you to a refund for the unused portion

After Cancellation

  • Subscription features become unavailable when the current billing period ends
  • Any remaining lead credits stay in your account
  • Your property and lead data is retained according to our Privacy Policy
  • You may re-subscribe at any time at current pricing

Refund Policy

General Policy

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for lead credits, used credits, subscriptions after partial periods, or change of mind purchases.

Exceptional Circumstances

We may offer refunds at our sole discretion in exceptional cases:

  • Technical errors resulting in duplicate charges or incorrect pricing
  • Extended service unavailability
  • Demonstrably unauthorised charges

Refund Requests

To request a refund in exceptional circumstances:

  • Email support@findahost.io within 14 days of the charge
  • Include your transaction ID, date of purchase, and reason for the request
  • Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis
  • Our decision on refund requests is final

Taxes

VAT (Value Added Tax)

  • A VAT rate of 20% applies to all purchases made by UK customers
  • Prices displayed include VAT where applicable
  • VAT receipts are available for all purchases
  • VAT-registered businesses may provide their VAT number for invoicing purposes

Payment Security

  • Encryption: All payment data is transmitted using SSL/TLS encryption
  • PCI Compliance: Our payment processor (Stripe) is PCI DSS Level 1 certified
  • No Storage: We do not store complete payment card details
  • Fraud Detection: Automated fraud detection and prevention systems
